With Lehman Brothers nearing bankruptcy and Bank of America aquiring Merill Lynch “roughly $50 billion to avert a deepening financial crisis”, the last thing the McCain campaign needs is to have an adviser stating that the economy is just fine – again. But that’s just what McCain got when his adviser Donald Luskin wrote an op-ed for the Washington Times today declaring that we’re possibly “on the brink not of recession, but of accelerating prosperity.”
That makes two economic advisors from the McCain camp who think the economy is just fine.
